Just a single application is used in assessing an applicants entitlement, however, the two government bodies use different policies to review the information that you provide. OSAP will provide financial assistance for educational costs and basic living expenses. Applying For OSAP The main way you can apply for OSAP funding is to use the online application that is on the OSAP website. There is also available a paper booklet application option, which requires a fee. Assuming that you have provided them all the required information, you can expect to receive your “Student Information Document” within 10 weeks outlining how much assistance you are eligible to receive. You can check on the status of application’s on the OSAP website. Application Deadlines For OSAP One Term Programs (12-20 weeks): Applications must be received by the Financial Aid Office within the first thirty days of your study period in order for you to be eligible for OSAP funding.
